first of all, he's clearly wearing star wars on his upper half. you can't think superman trumps star wars. the child has his priorities set just fine.
also, wearing the superman shirt on his lower half allows him the comfort and versatility of a kilt with all the superhero protection you'd expect from any superman wear. obviously the child is innovative. because the jerks at supermanwear don't make kilts yet.
Protecting the crown jewels with superpowers, duh!! And convenient frontal and backward sleeves for super potty purposes. Genious!!!All else fails, just lift the kilt.....
