Alex, Aunt Shelley and Peanut

6 1/2 months old!

Hmmm

My best friend, Amanda, has two beautiful little girls, a mere 6 weeks older than Alex. Amanda has been concerned recently about their obsession with grass--crawling on it, pulling eat, stuffing it in their mouths. I assured her this must be normal. But is Alex eating grass, she asked. Well, no, I said. However, shortly after that conversation, Alex began his own little obsession. He hasn't really eaten much, yet. But the crawling and pulling has begun. I can only imagine that stuffing his little mouth full of the green delicacy will be right around the corner.

Command Center

I believe that Alex may be plotting to take over the world with his unsuspecting Baby Einstein Command Center.

Ladies Man

In case you can't tell, his shirt says Lock Up Your Daughters, courtesy of Aunt Shelley!

Blues Boy

One of my favorite outfits for Alex is his House of Blues onesie that Alan bought a few months before Alex was born. You have to admit, he looks pretty cool.

Six months old!!!

Alex is six months old and he is changing every day. We had his six month doctor's visit on Thursday and he is on target or advanced on all developmental categories. He had his shots (three shots in the legs and an oral vaccine) and he only cried for about 3 minutes. Then, he was back to his happy self. It probably helped that I gave him Tylenol before we went for the shots.

He also started crawling this week after a few weeks of getting his butt and legs working right but not his arms! At first, he would go a few inches and then get so excited that he would roll over. But now, he has it down and is moving several feet at a time! We still haven't baby-proofed everything!

Tri-Lingual Boy

Aunt Shelley and Uncle Alan got Alex a cool toy with English, Spanish and French and he LOVES it!

Peek-A-Boo

Alex has been playing peek-a-boo with us a lot recently. Yesterday, I caught him playing peek-a-boo with his animals in his crib. He sounds like he is upset in the video, but he is actually laughing. Enjoy!
